Lucky Shops LA VIP Party

Tonight (or yesterday now) was the LuckyShops LA VIP party in Hollywood. I've never been invited to anything that had VIP and Hollywood in the same sentence, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. It was shopping with music and free drinks, with a pretty nice view of the Hollywood hills. I was so excited that I got to meet Beth and Elaine (whom I didn't get a picture with, sadly) while I was there. Both were super sweet and stylish!
I'm kicking myself that I didn't get an outfit picture before I left. I thought for some reason I'd have a perfect opportunity to do it while I was there, and clearly that wasn't the case. Oh well, it wasn't anything too special. Just a yellow shirt from Fossil and black mini skirt from ebay. Oh and some black studded Aldo heels.

It was funny, people were dressed from dresses and heels to jeans and TOMS. When we pulled up I thought, "holy crap, I'm over-dressed." or at least dressed up enough to be stopped by a guy on my way out and be asked, "aren't you an actress?" Say wha? hahah. It kind of made my night though.

So I didn't leave with any designer goodies, but I did get a gift bag. I didn't know if it's tacky to blog about swag, since I've never gotten any. But I figured I'd show you what I got anyway. I got a few reusable bags, a Jockey tank top, some stationery, Deerfoam slippers (which I'm wearing and are very comfy), a Converse notebook, a giftcard to Gorjana, a Havianas keychain and some Hypnotiq mints and lipgloss. It's like fashion Halloween.

All in all, I had a really good time. Thanks so much, Lucky for inviting me!
