Clearly, I Brangelina-ed my outfit for the post title. Then I started thinking, wouldn't that be funny if that was actually a pattern? Plaid snowflakes? and then I thought, wouldn't it be even funnier if there was a breakfast called Panflakes, which would obviously be pancakes made out of cornflakes. I feel like there should be some patenting going on here. But that's neither here nor there. I wore this outfit a couple days ago when I was still out of my mind with the Christmas-is-in-a-couple-days attitude (as opposed to the post-Christmas depression I have fallen into realizing I blinked and apparently missed it.) I made the mistake of actually going out in this outfit (note: sarcasm) since people kept asking me why I was so dressed up. I didn't feel like I was that dressed up--I was wearing flats for crying out loud! But apparently when you put on a plaid skirt, you obviously have exciting plans to attend to. Unfortunately, my exciting plans were just to go shopping, where I kept getting asked what exciting plans I had. It seems like it defeated the purpose, really.
Shirt: Charlotte Russe

aw, when I go out in a plaid skirt I get a lot of comments like "nice kilt" ;)
ReplyDeleteI love this look! You are killing me with the red lipstick, you wear it so well! This outfit is ideal for winter/Christmas-time, and there is nothing wrong with getting dressed up for the supermarket. When will people understand that it's ok to look nice for the small events in life?
