(shirt [actually a dress]: American Apparel, Jeans: Target, Vest: Ruche, Shoes: Steve Madden)
After looking around the Ruche website the other day, I spotted this vest and decided I had to have it. I don't have many vests (read: one) and I'm not sure why. Maybe because for awhile I saw e v e r y b o d y wearing them and I was kind of 'eh' about it. But seeing this vest, I could come up with at least 5 different outfits I could wear it with. I love the creamy natural color, it makes it look not so heavy, and more summery. I'm definitely happy with my purchase!
They're actually quite sturdy, and fit a lot. You can find the pattern for this as well as the directions on how to make plarn at Myrecycledbags.com Hopefully now these will cut down my plastic bag consumption low enough that I won't have to make more. Little steps, right?
