Don't Step On My Blue Glo Shoes

Remember that outfit I was talking about in my Kmart haul video, the Glo tunic and blue shoes? Well, I decided I needed to wear that outfit immediately, and I fancy it quite a lot. The shoes are so perfect: perfect height, perfect color and not uncomfortable. Again, I love the cut and drape of this top with the boat neck and cinched waist. A keeper for sure!

Also, today is my second day using Bare Minerals, and I have to say that it's growing on me. I have to get used to it not giving me a super full coverage like liquid foundations did, but I definitely like that it isn't as heavy as liquid foundations, and that it doesn't get cakey or crease by the end of the day. Yesterday, though, my skin felt really dry and I wasn't sure why. So today, I used a different primer before I applied the powder and I think it helped. I used the Bare Minerals Prime Time primer yesterday, which reminds me almost exactly of Smashbox's primer because it has that weird, slippery consistency I'm not a huge fan of. But I have to say that my favorite product from the kit has to be the tinted powder. I'm not sure if it's considered a bronzer, but that's what I use it as, to contour the cheeks and temples and voila! a healthy glow!
Thank you to everyone for your feedback about the makeup selections. I have still yet to hear a bad review about Bare Minerals. All your comments really help!

  3. Bare Minerals actually made my face break out, but that is probably because I'm sensitive to talc. I switched to Physicians Formula loose mineral powder and my skin immediately cleared up. PF is talc free, less drying, and only costs about 10 dollars at Target.

  4. I absolutely love bare minerals, since I started using it- in july- I have noticed a remarkable difference in my skin when I am not wearing makeup!

Great shoes! They really make the outfit pop; and the fact that they are comfortable makes them a win/win all around!

  5. You should try Laura Mercier primer....it feels sooooo good on!

I love the way Bare Minerals looks on my skin but I can't wear it!!! There is something in it that makes my face itch like crazy!!! I do use their product called Well Rested though, it doesn't make my face itch and give's awesome coverage for under eye circles and pimples!
