Minted
Top: Anthropologie Pants: Target Sandals: Forever 21 Necklace: Thai Pan Trading Nails:Revlon Minted
I can only describe this nail polish as the equivalent of having a first born child. I don't have any children, so I feel like I'm allowed to make such shallow comparisons. You know how parents always say they didn't know what to expect before they had kids, but once they saw them, they didn't know they could love something so much? That was pretty much my same experience with this nail polish. I knew I liked it, and I knew I wanted it, but I didn't really know what to expect before I put it on my nails. Now that I've seen it, I didn't know I could love a nail polish so much, and I couldn't imagine my life without it now. And the fact that I just spent the last 5 minutes comparing a nail polish to a child just reaffirms the fact that I should never have children.

Parlez Vous
Dress: Urban Outfitters Skirt: Halston via The Goodwill Belt: Forever 21 Shoes: Steve Madden Sunglasses: Target
Did I mention that I'm trying to get my Spring/Summer style to land somewhere in between Janis Joplin and Bridgette Bardot? I know they're kind of at opposite ends of the spectrum, but I think they both had pretty distinctive styles. And until I find a happy medium, I have to choose outfits that lean more towards one or the other. Obviously, this one was on a day I was feeling a bit more "Bardot-y." Then I had to go find a fountain (and eat a baguette) to make myself feel more French. It didn't really work, but I still had fun trying. *le sigh* C'est la vie.

Wedding Shoot: Part Trois
In keeping with the theme of all this wedding madness, here is another set of the mock wedding shoot I did with Vintique Photo. And not to toot my own horn, but who wore lace sleeves first? That's right, my grandma did. and then me. and then Catherine, Duchess of Adorableland. I'm totally kidding, she couldn't have been more gorgeous, and now I actually do want a wedding dress with lace sleeves. Could she BE anymore of a Grace Kelly reincarnation? (said in my best Chandler Bing voice) You can see the other wedding and engagement sessions here, here, and oh here too!
