Winter Solstice

Another day, another black dress. But since it's the winter solstice, also known as the shortest day of the year, I had to make my outfit count to make up for the lack of daylight it would be seeing. Faux fur scarf? Yes, please. Grandpa sweater with elbow patches? Sign me up. Bright red lipstick? You betcha. I am sad to report though, that literally as I stepped out of my car from returning home from a day out shopping, the sole on one of my boots came off. I guess now I have to go back in time and find a cobbler and his elves to fix them for me. :(
