Last week my family and I took a trip out to Catalina Island to celebrate my sister and brother-in-law's 10 year wedding anniversary. It was a much needed weekend of fun and sun. Our boat took off extremely early in the morning, so as soon as we arrived at the beach house, I took a siesta in the sun (don't worry, sunscreen 85 was in full effect!) Then we took a stroll down to the harbor. Of course, island attire is a must, so nothing too fancy, just some linen pants and burnout tank, and of course, my trust straw fedora.
