Shirt: Forever 21
I tried doing a little Christmas shopping today, but unfortunately just bought stuff for myself. Old habits die hard. I did make a wonderful discovery today:
My comrade at Starbucks has been teaching me how to make their drinks so I could make them at home. I learned how to make a carmel macchiato and was so excited. I told her all I needed to do was learn how to make a White Chocolate Mocha and I'd never have to go to Starbucks again. Unfortunately, Starbucks doesn't sell the White Chocolate they put in the drink, so I've been on the hunt for it and whattaknow! I found some White Chocolate coffee syrup!! It's not what they use at Starbucks, but I think with a little tweeking I can make something worthwhile out of it.I also picked up a new stovetop espresso maker.

I don't know what it is with me and the red, black and white color scheme lately... it just seems to be what my hands gravitate towards in my closet. Or maybe I just wanted a reason to wear my new sweater I got from Old Navy for $6. yes, 6 dollhairs.
also, I did the whole "which looks better" shoe question to my mom. One foot I was wearing black and white spectator heels, the other, these leopard low-heels. She picked the spectators. I replied, "really?!" and then she goes, "actually, I don't like either." In which I responded, "Okay, I'll wear the leopard." I don't know why I even ask opinions when I already know which ones I want to wear. There was just something about the leopard print having no rhyme or reason with the stripes that made me think, 'this is a perfect match.' but then again, in my mind, odd pairings like that always seem to make sense.
Shirt (actually a dress): American Apparel
Sweater: Old Navy
These pictures are the result of me messing around with the vibrance effect on Picnik. Too much? or juuuust enough?

Jennifer and I somehow decided it would be a good idea to make a movie, and somehow it ended up turning into a silent movie... so here it is... the world premiere of my first attempt at making a silent movie. It makes me laugh everytime I watch it. Enjoy!

I've noticed myself being more and more inspired by what guys are wearing lately. This would definitely one of my 'menswear-inspired' looks.
Shirt: Ralph Lauren ala Marshalls
My best friend Jennifer showed up and we had some fun in front of the camera:

I've had this picture saved on my computer for-ev-er (Sandlot style) and have always loved how amazingly happy and stylish this girl is. I forgot where I got the picture... Stockholm Street Style, methinks? If someone knows tell me so I can credit. Anyway, I've always loved the pairing of a red dress with spectators so I thought I'd give it a try. I love it even more now.
Dress: Old Navy
